Momme is a fabric-weight reference, not a complete quality score. The right choice depends on the product, the desired handfeel, the construction and the target price position.
A 19 momme direction can suit lighter accessories and a soft, fluid hand. A 22 momme direction gives a little more body for products that need a more substantial feel. A 25 momme direction is often considered when extra coverage or a fuller hand is important.
For a private-label project, compare the same color and construction across the selected weights. Confirm the final composition, finished measurements, color reference and care instructions on the approved physical sample.
