Silk pillowcase sizing, closures and packaging for private-label collections
A buyer-focused checklist for pillowcase dimensions, envelope or zipper closures, branding and final presentation.

Begin with the finished dimensions required by the destination market. A size name alone does not describe the finished fit, so include width, length, closure overlap and any tolerance you need reviewed. If the pillowcase is part of a set, record the size of every component rather than assuming the same reference applies to all markets.
Choose the closure direction early enough for it to appear in the sample. An envelope opening, concealed zipper and other constructions affect the overlap, seam placement, label position and the way the pillowcase is packed. Review the opening on the physical sample and check that the chosen construction matches the intended user experience.
Material and appearance should be recorded together. Confirm the silk composition, momme direction, color reference and any piping or edge finish. If several colors share one collection, keep the material and construction notes consistent so the differences can be reviewed clearly.
Plan the presentation after the product dimensions are stable. A pair, single pillowcase or gift set may need different pouches, boxes, inserts, hangtags and barcode labels. Approve the packed sample as a complete presentation, then carry the confirmed dimensions, closure, branding and packaging into the production brief.
